Engine Reliability
The N63 is BMW's infamous 'hot-V' twin-turbo V8. The design places turbochargers between the cylinder banks for better response, but subjects them and surrounding components to extreme heat. Oil leaks, coolant leaks, and injector failures are endemic. BMW issued a 'Customer Care Package' to address issues. Powerful but very expensive to maintain.
